Improving Patient Experience
The Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust began using Dr Foster Intelligence's Patient Experience Tracker (PET) in order to reach patient groups that had proved difficult to engage with in the past. The trust now aims to achieve a 75 per cent response rate from patients using services where PET is available. The improved channels of communication have raised the levels of trust and understanding between staff and patients and they have subsequently gone on to win the BT eHealth Insider Award for Excellence in Healthcare Information. This film explains how and why they have been so successful in improving patient experience.
